Our journey brings us to a working black pearl farm located in the
far stretches of the Tuamotus Archipelago of French Polynesia.
From the grafting and insemination of Tahitian black pearls to
the underwater planting, growth and harvesting, we follow the
life cycle of these developing jewels of the South Pacific.
Highlights include detailed demonstrations from industry insiders,
riveting underwater footage, and a wild spearfishing hunt in
preparation of a traditional Polynesian feast.
